Automatic Reel Turn-up Systems
The TUSA unit is
proving increasingly more valuable to many mills as a means
of preventing lost production and providing an excellent
return on investment.
In a market where money is increasingly monitored and
accounted for, the TUSA system is proving an excellent tool
in reducing lost production percentages (up to 2 - 3%), and
is invaluable with its safety aspects as it requires no
operator involvement within the confines of the paper
machine.
The TUSA systems allow for both conventional and reverse
angle installation. For reverse angle installation, the
unit has an adjustable track height which allows for the
curve to be removed from the paper web during a break, thus
preventing blocking of the tail when fed through.
